Join APLC at this lunch panel for a discussion of the various career paths available after law school with our group of four panelists. We hope this will be an opportunity for you to learn about their different experiences and ask questions about their current practice areas.

Panelists: 

  • Derek Yee 
    • Derek Yee is the founder of Yee & Company and has devoted his legal practice to representing injured individuals in motor vehicle accidents and ICBC claims.
  • Chen Shen 
    • Chen Shen has expanded his practice from criminal law to more general litigation. He currently has a mixed practice at a small firm ranging from criminal defence to civil litigation that has taken him to all levels of court in BC, the Federal Court, and some tribunals. 
  • Nicco Bautista 
    • Nicco Bautista is a wealth management lawyer at Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm. He practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, administration and litigation, as well as charities, and taxation.
  • Sena Byun 
    • Sena Byun is Senior Counsel in the Legal Services department of TELUS Corporation where she works with the Corporate Secretary and supports the Board of Directors."
