Indigenous Student Support

The Indigenous Legal Studies Program endeavors to ensure Indigenous student success at the Allard School of Law.  The Program provides academic, cultural, and career support to Indigenous students. Academic assistance includes workshops, tutoring, and academic advising for Indigenous students.  Cultural support consists of social gatherings and cultural workshops throughout the academic year. In terms of career support, the Indigenous Legal Studies Program works closely with the Career Services Office at the Allard School of Law to assist Indigenous students in securing articling positions. The Indigenous Legal Studies Program hosts articling receptions and invites alumni to social events during the academic year to connect prospective employers with Indigenous law students.
