Clothing Swap Fundraiser

Tuesday, March 20, 2018 - 11:00 to 15:30

Franklin Lew Forum

The Environmental Law Group will be transforming the Lew Forum into a thrift shop to raise money for Pull Together and Keepers of the Athabasca.  The clothing swap will allow us all to update our wardrobes without the negative impact of new clothes on people and planet. All items will be under $10. 50% of the funds raised will go to the Pull Together Campaign, supporting Indigenous legal challenges to Kinder Morgan’s TransMountain expansion project and 50% of the Fund raised will go to Keepers of the Athabasca for their work facilitating community input into the Environmental Assessment of the Teck Frontier Oil Sands Mine in Alberta. You can learn more about both these amazing causes on the event page.

To make this event work we need your clothes! Please check the event page or email ubc.elg@gmail.com for details on how to donate clothing.

If you can’t attend the event but want to donate directly to Pull Together you can do so through our fundraising page.
