Indigenous Law Students Association Reception & Fundraiser

Thursday, March 14, 2019 - 16:30 to 19:45

Franklin Lew Forum

Please join the Indigenous Law Students Association (ILSA) in our first annual ILSA Reception & Fundraiser. We are excited to welcome Grand Chief Ed John who will deliver a keynote address on the history and development of UNDRIP, followed by the presentation of the ILSA Courage in Law Awards.

The evening will also feature a reception with live music and silent auction featuring many works by local Indigenous artists.

There is no cost to attend, however, ILSA welcomes donations in addition to your participation in the silent auction. All proceeds raised from the donations and silent auction go towards the ILSA Bursaries. The ILSA Bursaries are granted to Indigenous Law Students at Allard who are continuing into second or third year, and who show a commitment to community service.

RSVP is required for this event.

Any questions can be directed to Dawn Johnson, with the Indigenous Law Students Association at ilsa.ubc@gmail.com
